JOHOR BARU: The 10 members of the newly-formed state executive committee have taken their oaths in front of Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
The ceremony took place at Bilik Singgahsana in Istana Besar here at around 10.30am on Wednesday (May 16), and was posted on Sultan Ibrahim's official Facebook page.
Also present at the ceremony was Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, members of the royal family and Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian.
Osman, who is Kempas assemblyman, will hold the Natural Resources, Administration, Financial, Planning, and Johor Economic Development portfolios.
Pakatan Harapan formed the state government after winning 36 seats in GE14. Barisan Nasional got 19 seats and PAS had only one seat.
The 10 exco members are Aminolhuda Hassan who holds the Education and Religious portfolio, Dzulkefly Ahmad (Housing and Rural Development), Tan Hong Pin (Local Government, Science and Technology), Dr S. Ramakrishnan (Consumerism, Human Resource and Unity), Mazlan Bujang (Works, Infrastructures and Transport), Jimmy Puah Wee Tse (Investment and Utilities), Liow Cai Tung (Women Development and Tourism), Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar (Youth, Sports and Culture), Dr Sahruddin Jamal (Health, Environment and Agriculture) and Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali (Entrepreneurship Development, Cooperatives and Creative Economy).Source: The Star Online
