JOHOR BARU: KHAZANAH Nasional Bhd, UEM Sunrise Bhd and Iskandar Investment Bhd recently unveiled the Iskandar Puteri (IP) City and Community Portal, which serves as an online resource platform for the residence in the development.
The IP City Portal features Communa, a one-stop online smart service for township and community management, which was developed by Edgenta Township Management Services Sdn Bhd (ETMS) — a joint venture between Medini Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd, UEM Edgenta Bhd and UEM Sunrise.
Iskandar Investment president and CEO Datuk Khairil Anwar Ahmad said the launch of the portal is another key milestone in the development of IP, and a fitting attribute for the elevation of IP’s status as a city.
“As the second city in Johor and the 14th in Malaysia, IP has now joined an elite club, where nationally and internationally it is recognised as a place that means business,” he said in a statement.
“The city is now poised for greater achievements as we continue to chart and map its growth and maturity cultural ly, economically and socially, through the various initiatives such as this newly launched portal.
“As the catalytic developer for IP, Iskandar Investment is honoured to be able to work collaboratively and synergistically with the Iskandar Puteri City Council, UEM Sunrise and other stakeholders to be a part of this great journey,” Khairil Anwar said.
Also present during the portal’s launch was IP Mayor Adib Azhari Daud.
The portal will enable residents and visitors to exchange informat ion and create opportunities among various communities.
ETMS was established to bring together UEM Sunrise’s experience in creating great communit ies with UEM Edgenta’s established record in asset and property management for its townships and other projects in the IP region. Iskandar Puteri received city status on Nov 22.
To commemorate the event, UEM Sunrise, Iskandar Investment and Khazanah also jointly presented the sixth instalment of the Iskarnival 2017, featuring Iskarnival Kool and Iskarnival Aktif. The event, which took place from Nov 25 to Nov 26, encompassed festival, art, culture and sporting activities aimed at raising awareness for the local community.
